Falcon International Bank Announces Officer Promotions (March 24, 2008)

Announces Promotions in Lending and International Banking - As printed in Laredo Morning Times Business Jorunal - March 24, 2008

Once again, Falcon International Bank grows as its employees grow! Continuing its tremendous pace of development, Falcon is pleased to announce three Laredo-based promotions: Robert Peregoy, David Gutierrez, and Dalia Rosales have been promoted to Banking Officers. Peregoy and Gutierrez were promoted to Lending Officers, and Dalia Rosales was promoted to International Banking Officer.

Working in the San Isidro Branch, Peregoy joined Falcon in 2007 as a Credit Analyst; with seven years of prior banking experience, however, he is no stranger to the financial world. In addition to workplace advancement, Peregoy actively pursues professional development through the Texas Bankers Association and is pursuing his Bachelor's degree at Texas A & M International University. An enthusiastic team player, Peregoy has a bright future ahead of him at Falcon.

"I consider it an honor and privilege to work for an institution as successful as Falcon International Bank," says Peregoy. "I am thankful for the trust that the Bank has instilled in me as I move forward with my career in the Lending area, and I look forward to the tasks and challenges that lie ahead."

David Gutierrez has also been promoted to Lending Officer. Working in the Lending Department in the Laredo East Branch, Gutierrez joined Falcon in 2006 as a Loan Review Analyst. The Laredo native is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and an active participant in seminars and conferences offered through the Texas Bankers Association. A conscientious administrator, Gutierrez sees the simultaneous challenges and rewards associated with providing optimal customer service in the financial industry, particularly in this time of volatility. "A good lender learns something new every day and, maybe more importantly, teaches something new every day," says Gutierrez.

Dalia Rosales, who contributes her talents to Falcon's Downtown Branch, has been promoted to International Banking Officer. She has five years of experience in the banking industry, including more than two with Falcon. Recognized as Banker of the Month in August 2006, Rosales solicits international customers to Falcon and works tenaciously to provide them with the best service. Like Gutierrez, Rosales sees this alone as the most significant challenge of her work. She is devoted to Falcon, and credits the bank for helping to shape her abilities. "My experience with Falcon has helped me become more independent," says Rosales. "I enjoy taking on new responsibilities and learning new tasks."

Falcon International Bank proudly employs the best financial talent, and fervently supports the continued development and success of all of its personnel. The bank's current assets are in excess of $850 million and employs more than 380 people. Founded in Laredo, Texas, Falcon now has 15 branches across South and Central Texas. Falcon credits this unprecedented growth to the strength of its valued employees, and looks forward to a strong and prosperous future.
