Falcon International Bank Hosts Ribbon-Cutting at Second Eagle Pass Branch (March 27, 2007)Grand Opening attended by up to 200 members of Eagle Pass community
On March 22, 2007, Falcon International Bank proudly hosted a Grand Opening ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newest Eagle Pass branch. The 6,558 sq. ft. branch, conveniently located at 476 S. Bibb Ave., directly adjacent to Wal-Mart, is the second Falcon branch to open in Eagle Pass in two years, giving testament to Falcon's commitment and enthusiasm to serve the Eagle Pass community.
Approximately 200 people attended the afternoon ribbon-cutting ceremony, including Laredo-based executives Adolfo E. Gutierrez, Chairman of the Board/CEO and Gilbert Narvaez, Jr., President/COO. Also in attendance were recently-appointed South West Regional President Guillermo "Willie" Hyslop, First Vice President/Bibb Street Branch Manager Alma N. Velasquez and members of their regional team.
"Falcon Bank will give more opportunities for Eagle Pass to grow, to open more businesses," says Velasquez of Falcon's presence in the city. "It will provide more options for our consumers. Falcon Bank is here not only to meet our customers' needs, but also to make their dreams come true. We want to provide the best and most convenient products and services for our customers."
In addition to Falcon staff members, many prominent Eagle Pass business and community leaders attended the ceremony, lending an atmosphere of warmth and celebration. Falcon wishes to express its appreciation to Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce President Billy Davis, who served as Master of Ceremony and Father Carlos Aguilera from Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Church in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, who offered the invocation. Falcon also thanks Eagle Pass Mayor Chad Foster and Maverick County Judge Jose "Pepe" Aranda, who each expressed support of Falcon's Eagle Pass endeavors in their presentations.
The opening of the Bibb Street branch marks another milestone in Falcon Bank's track record of unprecedented growth, regional and national top awards, and leadership and participation in numerous community-based programs. The large, contemporary facility offers a complete line of financial products and services, including personal and business checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit, money market accounts, IRA's, night depository, safe deposit boxes, residential and commercial mortgages, auto loans and a wide variety of other types of commercial and consumer loans, home equity loans, retirement products and wealth and investment management.
