In her decade-long tenure at Falcon International Bank, Nayeli Gabriel-Garza has received numerous recognitions, including Banker of the Month and Banker of the Year. Now she has been promoted from escrow analyst to loan operations officer at Falcon’s East branch location.
In her current role, Gabriel-Garza is responsible for ensuring the bank’s high standard of customer service, maintaining taxes and insurance on bank-wide escrowed loans, performing annual escrow analysis and overseeing properties under a flood zone.
“I enjoy all the duties that encompass my job,” Gabriel-Garza says, “but being able to answer questions for my customers and coworkers gives me tremendous satisfaction.”
Originally from Puebla, Mexico, Gabriel-Garza has called Laredo home for 18 years. She is a graduate of J.W. Nixon High School and earned her associate’s degree in banking and finance from Laredo Community College. She volunteers at Freedom Elementary School and most enjoys spending her free time with her family, especially her three children, Nayeli Anali Garza, Juan Jesus Garza Jr. and Alexa Beatriz Garza.
With Falcon, Gabriel-Garza attributes her success to one thing: love.
“Choose a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life,” she says.
Falcon International Bank congratulates Nayeli Gabriel-Garza on her promotion!
